Acceptance

By using the WonderSound website or application (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

WonderSound provides ambient soundscapes composed from recorded natural and urban sound layers, organized by location and playable through the app. Features may change, and we may add, modify, or remove content at any time.

Accounts

Some features require an account (email and password, or Google/X sign-in). You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least the minimum age required by law to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Free tier

Signed-in free accounts can explore 5 locations; visitors without an account can explore 1. We may change these limits as the product evolves. Paid subscribers are not subject to the location limit.

Subscription plans

We offer one subscription plan: WonderSound Unlimited — Monthly. For current plan details and pricing, see the home page. We may modify plan features or introduce new plans at any time; price changes follow the "Changes" section below.

Billing and payment

By subscribing you expressly authorize WonderSound — with Waffo Pancake as merchant of record — to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis for the subscription fee. This authorization remains in effect until you cancel as described under Cancellation. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled.

New subscriptions start with a 3-day free trial (one per account). If you cancel during the trial, nothing is charged; otherwise the first charge occurs when the trial ends. Charges on your card statement may appear under a descriptor referencing WonderSound / Waffo Pancake. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout; where the law requires, we (or Waffo Pancake on our behalf) collect and remit such taxes. Invoices are issued by Waffo Pancake.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period: through the Waffo Pancake customer portal (linked from your checkout confirmation and receipt email), or by contacting us via the Contact page from your account email. After canceling you keep unlimited access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you will not be charged for subsequent periods. Account data is then retained per our Privacy Policy.

Refund policy

Because WonderSound is an immediately available digital service, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except in the cases below.

• Trial cancellations — cancel during the 3-day free trial and you are never charged; there is nothing to refund.
• Duplicate charges — a full refund for any billing error that results in a duplicate charge.
• Extended outages — a pro-rated refund or credit for verified service outages of 72 hours or more within our control.
• Statutory rights — where applicable law grants withdrawal or refund rights (for example, the 14-day withdrawal right for consumers in the EU/UK), those rights are preserved as required by law.

To request a refund, contact us via the Contact page with your account email, the transaction id from your Waffo Pancake receipt, and the reason. We acknowledge requests within 2 business days; eligible refunds are processed by Waffo Pancake within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

Not eligible for refunds: subscription periods already used (except as noted above), charges that occurred because a trial or subscription was not canceled before renewal, and accounts terminated for violation of these terms.

Acceptable use

• Use the Service for personal, non-commercial listening.
• Do not attempt to download, redistribute, resell, or publicly broadcast the audio content.
• Do not scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
• Do not circumvent the free-tier or subscription limits, including automated attempts.
• Do not use the Service in violation of applicable laws.

Intellectual property

All sound recordings, imagery, text, and software in the Service are owned by WonderSound or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to stream the content through the Service for personal use.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties: Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), Waffo Pancake (payments, merchant of record), Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics (usage analytics), Resend (transactional email), and map/media/font providers. Their availability may affect the Service. Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, WonderSound is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; canceling a subscription is handled as described under Cancellation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes (including price changes) will be reflected on this page with an updated date; price changes apply from your next renewal.
