Overview

WonderSound ("we", "us") operates the WonderSound website and soundscape application. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. We designed the app to work without accounts and to collect as little data as possible.

What we store on your device

• Playback and mixer preferences — sound levels, mute state, global volume, and custom voice selections stored in your browser's local storage.
• Session state — the location you were playing and your map view, stored for the current browser session so you can return without losing your place.
• Theme and display settings — stored locally to keep the interface consistent.

This data stays on your device. Clearing your browser storage removes it, and it is never transmitted to us.

What we do not collect

WonderSound does not require registration, does not use accounts, and does not sell data. We do not collect contact information unless you write to us directly (see Contact).

Third-party services

The app loads map tiles, audio streams, and cover imagery from our content delivery network and map providers. These requests are necessary to display the map and play sounds. Your browser also loads web fonts from Google Fonts; font requests may be logged by the font provider. We do not use advertising or profiling networks.
